We know that you can’t wait to begin our Comedy Defensive Driving course. We offer both online and classroom courses for our students in Texas, but you will need to obtain your Texas Driving Record before you can register for our course. The court that handled your traffic ticket or citation must approve you for TX defensive driving. The court may have told you that you need to obtain your driving record and this must be a certified copy. Some courts in the state will get your driving record for you and they charge you extra for this. The best way to make sure that you are eligible to sign up for our course is to find out what the requirements of your court are for you. If the court did not give you paperwork or did not tell you to obtain your driving record, then you will need to call the court for more information. Here is some helpful information about obtaining your driving record:
• We recommend that you order your driving record online because this is the easiest way to get it
• Go to the State of Texas website and follow the links to “Order Driving Record”
• Order Version 3A, the certified copy that is required by most courts
• Pay $12.00 by credit card online
• You should receive your driving record in a few business days
