You Will Need Your Texas Driving Record to Take Our Course

We know that you will enjoy taking our defensive driving in Austin TX or in other cities throughout the State of Texas. Before you register for our course at Comedy Defensive Driving, you will need to obtain your Texas driving record. You need to first be approved for defensive driving by the court that issued you the traffic citation. You will receive a notice from the court if you need to get a copy of your driving record, but some courts charge you extra and get the driving record for you. We recommend that you know what your court requirements are before taking any steps to register for our course. Our course is state approved by all courts in Texas. If you are not sure if you are approved for defensive driving, you should call the court and ask about this. Here is some additional information that you need to know about your driving record:

• Courts want drivers to have their driving record to see how many traffic violations that a person has already had dismissed

• They usually allow a person to take our course, even if they have had a traffic violation previously dismissed in the previous year

• The court will decide whether or not you may take tx defensive driving

• We recommend that you get your Texas driving record online at the State of Texas website. Follow the links to “Order Driving Record” and be sure to order version 3A, a certified copy that most courts require. Pay $12.00 by credit card and allow a few business days for it to arrive
