Defensive Driving with Chrix Thornton at Buffalo Wild Wings in Fort Worth

Christian “Chrix” Thornton teaches Comedy Defensive Driving with his own brand of hilarity. A magic bus tour with jokes, games, songs, humor, and videos. Chrix is a refugee of the San Francisco hippy days and is a musician, entertainer, actor, and comedy writer.Future projects include music videos and a Bigfoot hunting parody, “The Bigfoot Squad”, being filmed in the Dallas area this summer and available later this year on YouTube.

Comedy Defensive Driving school discovered and recruited Chrix after he had a lead role in a film they were producing for the T.A.B.C. (Texas Alcohol And Beverage Commission). You can see Chrix Thornton at Buffalo Wild Wings in Fort Worth. He now teaches defensive driving  in Fort Worth every Wednesday evening at 4:00 p.m. and every other Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings, 5601 South Hulen Street. It is right off of Interstate 20 (I-20), near the Highway183 split and just west of Interstate 35W (I-35W). Everyone loves wings! Plus they have tasty burgers, sandwiches and decadent desserts.

I teach Comedy Defensive Driving, myself, and have had numerous “repeat offenders”who have taken a class with Chrix and commended him on his humor and hip demeanor. Students have said his teaching methods were not only entertaining but thought provoking. And, we all know that now and then we have to be ‘provoked’ to think.

Come on out and see Chrix work his comedy antics while enjoy some awesome food and fun…you’ll be glad you did. Call for reservation: 972-573-2700

Until next week…

Chrix Thornton at Buffalo Wild Wings in Fort Worth – Comedy Defensive Driving

Daun Thompson: Daun Thompson has spent years acting in both film and theatre which has been paramount in launching her onto the comedy stage (incidentally, without a helmet, resulting in a nasty concussion). Being a funny girl is a full time job. A job that she hopes that one day will come with dental benefits and a 401K. Unlike her work, she is biodegradable, yet flame retardant. And gentle to the touch. Her goal in life??? For strangers to approach her and ask "Didn't you used to be somebody?" In the late 1980's she cut her teeth at the Velveeta Room on 6th Street in Austin, Texas ... the original room with the stripper pole. From there, she moved to northern California and worked with many comedy icons, like Mitch Hedberg, Marc Maron, Colin Quinn, Vic Dunlop, Huck Flyn, Michael Mancini, Doug Ferrari, Shang and Brian Posehn. Daun has been a licensed driver safety instructor and trainer with Comedy Defensive Driving for over 9 years. Her knowledge of driving safety laws keeps her readers informed and engaged with her blog adventures. She still continues to do stand-up comedy, sometimes in a reclining position...just to be different.
